Herndon Stokes

Herndon Stokes has a diverse work experience in the insurance and banking industry. Herndon has worked at Sompo International as the Head of Distribution, Business Development, and Client Management since 2023. Previously, they held multiple roles at AXIS (AXIS Capital), including Broker Executive and Head of Distribution - International Division, AXIS Re, and Strategic Account Executive and Head of Business Development, AXIS Re. Before that, Herndon worked at Munich Re (Group) as Executive Manager - Global Accounts and Head of Corporate Client Management (CCM) - Corporate Development Reinsurance, among other positions. Herndon also has experience working at BearingPoint as a Senior Consultant and at Grant Thornton LLP as a Senior Consultant. At RBC Bank, Herndon served as AVP - Head of Deposit Product Strategy & Development and as an Investment Officer.

Herndon Stokes completed their education with a Diploma from Virginia Episcopal School in 1988. Herndon then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University, graduating in 1992. In 2000, Herndon went on to earn an M.B.A. in Business Management and Strategy from The University of Edinburgh. Most recently, in 2018, they completed an Executive Program in Digital Strategies for Business at Columbia Business School.
