Joaquim Pereira Mendes

Joaquim Pereira Mendes has extensive work experience in the legal, tax, and compliance field. Joaquim began their career in 1986 as a Lawyer at Soares da Costa and worked there until 1988. In 1989, they joined Sonae Sierra as a Legal Director and progressed to various positions, including Director Legal & Tax, Director Legal, Tax and M&A, and Chief Legal, Tax & Compliance Officer. Mendes has been an Invited Professor at Universidade Portucalense (UPT) since 1986.

Joaquim Pereira Mendes earned their Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidade de Coimbra from 1975 to 1980.
