Rob Tickner

Rob Tickner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in production engineering and manufacturing. Currently serving as the Production Engineering NPI Manager at Sonardyne International Ltd since February 2018, Rob specializes in NPI development and management. Previously, Rob worked at STI Limited from November 2004 to February 2018 as a Manufacturing Engineer, where Rob implemented Lean Six Sigma practices, led continuous improvement projects, and headed efforts that achieved Nadcap certification. Earlier in Rob's career, at Thales Underwater Systems Limited from February 1995 to August 2004, Rob gained practical experience as a Prototype Wireman, involving sonar system installations and large-scale mechanical assembly, while also collaborating with design and electronics engineers on new product development projects. Rob holds GCSE qualifications from Farnborough College of Technology and Courtmoor Secondary School.
