Balaji joined with more than 2 decades of strategic and operational experience in the people and talent function across industries. Prior to joining Sonata, he was the CHRO for L&T Infotech heading the functional globally.After obtaining his Masters in HRM from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, he went on to work with some reputed companies across industries such as Hindustan Unilever, Coca-Cola, Citibank, Microsoft and the L&T Group. He has partnered with key stakeholders to design, deploy and deliver human capital interventions for better business results and organizational outcomes.

Balaji is a certified Coach, Organization Development and Talent Management practitioner. A people-centric person, he is a keen student of personality, culture and HR Excellence and strives to bring the best out of everyone for individual and team success.
