Mark also holds a High School Diploma from Calvary Academy in Springfield, IL, which they received from 1983 to 1985.

In addition to their academic achievements, Mark has obtained various certifications. Mark became a Project Management Professional (PMP) in February 2016 after completing the certification program offered by the Project Management Institute. In June 2018, they earned the designation of Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance. Mark further expanded their expertise in Agile methodologies by obtaining the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) credential in June 2020, also from the Scrum Alliance. Subsequently, in February 2021, they acquired the Agile Hybrid Project Pro Micro-Credential from the Project Management Institute. Mark's certification in ITIL Foundation Level was obtained in July 2010 through the ITIL Foundation Certification Training Level.
