Venu Banda

Venu Banda has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Venu is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of sonet.io, a position they have held since April 2020. Prior to this, Venu worked as the Principal Architect at Broadcom Inc. from August 2019 to April 2020. Venu also served as a Principal Architect at Symantec from August 2016 to August 2019, where they played a pivotal role in the company's architecture. Venu gained architectural experience at Blue Coat Systems, a company acquired by Symantec, where they worked as an Architect from April 2013 to August 2016. Before that, they were a Senior Architect at Mincom Inc. from January 2009 to April 2013. Venu's career started at IBM, where they worked as a Senior Engineer from December 1990 to June 2001. During their time at IBM, they contributed significantly to the promotion and implementation of Java-based solutions for major clients. Prior to that, Venu worked as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from 1988 to 1990.
