Mike Coblentz has worked in the engineering field since 2002. Mike began their career at Trios Associates, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer. In 2004, they joined SAIC as an Electrical Engineer. In 2011, they moved to Rockwell Collins as a Sr Electrical Engineer where they were responsible for developing electronics for commercial and military Heads-up Displays (HUDs). Mike also oversaw qualification testing and transition to production of the F-35 Helmet Mounted Display (HMD). In 2016, they joined Sigma Design, Product Design and Engineering as a Sr. Electrical Engineer. Their primary responsibilities included designing and supporting electronic devices and systems for various clients, leading a small team of engineers, and interfacing with clients. Mike also mentored younger engineers and developed internal processes. In 2022, they joined Sonetics as a Lead HW Engineer.
Mike Coblentz attended Penn State University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
