Daniel Garrido V. has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Analyst at ElectroNet Consultores Ltda. from 2008 to 2010. Daniel then worked at PPA Energy as a Financial Modeller and Energy and Management Consultant from 2011 to 2012, where they analyzed investment strategies and built financial models.

From 2012 to 2014, Daniel served as the Solid Fuel Manager for AES-Gener, where they were responsible for the procurement and supply of solid fuels for Chile, Argentina, and Colombia.

Following this, they joined Aela Energía as the Commercial and Business Management Director from 2014 to 2019. In this role, they were responsible for company growth, business development, commercial affairs, regulatory affairs, and business management.

Currently, Daniel is working at Sonnedix, beginning in 2019. Daniel started as the Head of Business Development in Chile and built a team of 7 people. Daniel then transitioned to the position of Head of Growth Americas, leading Sonnedix's regional growth efforts in the Americas.

Daniel Garrido V. earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Risk Management and Financial Engineering from Imperial College London in 2010-2011. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Universidad de Chile, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniería Civil Electricista from 2002 to 2007. In 2016, Daniel participated in an executive education program at Harvard Law School focused on Negotiation and Leadership offered by the Program on Negotiation.
