Xavier Araujo

Xavier Araujo, CPA, currently serves as the Administrative Manager at Sonoco since March 2017, overseeing financial reporting, month-end close, accounting procedures, and internal controls for the Norwalk plant, while also managing annual budgets and audits. Previously, Xavier held the role of International Accounting Manager at Toshiba America Business Solutions from February 2014 to June 2016, where responsibilities included financial reporting and process improvements for a $15 million subsidiary in Mexico. Additionally, from March 2009 to June 2013, Xavier worked as the Manager of Regulatory Budgets and Oversight at Southern California Edison, managing financial reporting and budgets for the California Solar Initiative and self-generation incentive programs with a combined annual budget of $176 million. Xavier holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
