Zayda Delgado

Librarian III : Supervising Librarian at Sonoma County Library

Zayda Delgado is an experienced librarian with a strong background in special collections, archives, and public services. Currently serving as a Supervising Librarian at Sonoma County Library since May 2018, Zayda has also held roles including Special Collections Librarian & Archivist and Interim Supervising Librarian for Adult Services. In addition, Zayda is an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow for Diversity, Inclusion & Cultural Heritage at Rare Book School and participated as a Cohort Member in the Developing Leaders in California Libraries program through the California Library Association. Earlier positions include Public Services Coordinator at the University of California, Riverside, and various roles at the City of Ontario and the Norton Simon Museum. Zayda holds a Master of Library & Information Science from San Jose State University, a Certificate in Book History from Rare Book School, and a Bachelor's degree in History from California State University, Fullerton.
