Christina Casillas

Christina Casillas currently serves as the Associate Superintendent of Educational Services at Sonoma Valley Unified School District since August 2023. Prior to this role, Christina accumulated over two decades of experience at San Diego Unified School District, holding various leadership positions including Area Superintendent, Interim Area Superintendent, and Instructional Support Officer, along with serving as Principal and Vice Principal at University City High School and Serra High School. Additional roles included Special Education Administrator at Mira Mesa High School, and Special Education Resource Teacher, focusing on emotional disturbance and diagnostic resource support. Christina's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, a Master of Arts in Special Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology, all obtained from San Diego State University.
