Stephen Cobbe

Stephen Cobbe is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sonoma, a software security company focused on developing AI-powered products to protect enterprises from software system threats, a role held since November 2023. Prior to this, Stephen served as CEO and Adviser at Opal, a next-generation identity governance platform backed by Greylock Partners, from December 2019 to November 2023. Stephen's earlier experience includes Co-Founder and CTO positions at Dropbox, where involvement spanned from August 2015 to August 2019, alongside a role as a Software Engineer within the Dropbox Rotation Program. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning from Stanford University, completed in 2015, and was educated at Phillips Exeter Academy from 2007 to 2011.
