Enrique Rosas

Enrique began at Sonoran Institute in mid-2017 and serves as a field assistant in the Colorado River Delta, where he supports restoration efforts such as the clearing, collection and production of native coastal species, planting, irrigation, maintenance and support of ecological monitoring activities at restoration sites. Enrique has nearly ten years of experience working in the fields of the Mexicali Valley where he used to collect and pack vegetables. Today he says he enjoys coexistence and companionship during his current work. Every day he rides his bike to stay in shape and to appreciate the surrounding landscape, besides playing baseball and football.
