László Szegedi has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple years and roles. László started their career as a Software Assurance Analyst at Ygomi in 2007 and worked there until 2010. László then joined the University of Debrecen as a Teacher, where they taught IT to high school students and administered the graduation process.
In 2013, László joined National Instruments as a Business Quality Analyst, where they tested web components, user account services, and performed functional tests on the webshop experience. László worked in this role until 2015 when they transitioned to the role of QA Team Lead. As a QA Team Lead, László managed people and mentored team members. László was also responsible for test management in the Digital Transformation program and hiring and training new software testers.
In 2015, László also started working as a Senior QA Tester at National Instruments. In this role, they managed the testing of the new webshop experience as part of the Digital Transformation program. László utilized JIRA as a test management tool and implemented risk-based testing. Additionally, they provided training and mentoring to new colleagues.
From 2017 to 2022, László worked at Dynata as a Senior QA Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for manual and automated test planning and execution. László utilized Selenium for web test automation and performed requirement analysis and UAT.
Currently, László is working as a Senior QA Engineer at Sonrisa Technologies, starting in 2022.
László Szegedi completed their high school education at Fazekas Mihály Gimnázium from 1997 to 2001, focusing on mathematics. László then pursued a Master's degree in IT and Mathematics and specialized in IT translation at Debreceni Egyetem from 2001 to 2007, with their field of study being mathematics and computer science.
In terms of certifications, László obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in October 2015. In September 2007, they acquired the eMastering Test Design certification from Software Quality Engineering. Most recently, in September 2021, they earned the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
