John Trumpbour

John Trumpbour is an experienced media and advertising professional with a robust career spanning over three decades in the music industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Media at Sony Music since April 2007, John specializes in media planning and buying across various channels, including TV, digital, print, radio, and out-of-home advertising. Previous roles include Senior Director of Strategy & Media at Arcade Creative Group, Senior Director of Advertising for RCA Music Group, and Senior Director of Advertising/Marketing at Arista Records. John began as Director of Advertising and A&R Administration at Relativity Recordings, where responsibilities included developing media and marketing plans and managing A&R budgets. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from St. John's University, earned between 1983 and 1987.
