Steve Obeng

Steve Obeng is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President of Global Financial Planning & Analysis at Sony Music Entertainment since August 2021, after previously holding the position of Senior Director in the same department. Prior to joining Sony, Steve worked at WarnerMedia as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis from November 2019 to August 2021, and spent a decade at HBO in various roles including Senior Manager, Manager, Senior Accountant, and Accountant. Steve began a career in finance at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Associate and also held an Audit Intern position at RSM McGladrey. Early in the professional journey, Steve was a Project Coordinator at American Express. Educationally, Steve obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, completing studies from 2003 to 2007.
