Thiago Kurtz

Thiago Kurtz is an experienced legal professional with a focus on the music industry, currently serving as Vice President of Legal & Business Affairs at Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc. since August 2005, after previously holding the role of Senior Director in the same department. Prior to joining Sony Music, Thiago worked as an Associate Lawyer at Goodmans LLP from May 2000 to August 2005, and gained additional experience as a Summer Associate at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP in June 2000. Thiago's educational background includes a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and a Master of Arts in Criminology from the University of Toronto Centre of Criminology, along with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology from McGill University. Thiago attended Upper Canada College.
