Lynda Thompson

Lynda Thompson is a dedicated literacy specialist at Sophia Academy Rhode Island since September 2022 and has been providing tutoring services through Thompson's Tutoring since June 2022. With 14 years of experience as an elementary teacher, Lynda Thompson specializes in teaching grades 3-5, focusing on fostering patience and a growth mindset in students. Prior to these roles, Lynda Thompson served as an associate professor at Rhode Island College from August 2008 to June 2021. Lynda Thompson holds a Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education and Teaching from Roger Williams University.
