John Grubbstrom

John Grubbstrom has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving as a physician specializing in internal medicine, pneumonology, and aviation medicine at Sophiahemmet AB since 2008. Between 2010 and 2016, John held the position of President at the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale, overseeing the international regulatory body for airsports. Prior to these roles, John was the Medical Director and Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Danderyds Sjukhus AB from 1997 to 2007 and served as Head of the Emergency Care Division at Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset from 1996 to 2001. John holds a medical degree (leg.läk.) in cardiovascular medicine from Karolinska Institutet and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics, Sociology, and Philosophy from Stockholm University.
