Senior Threat Researcher at Sophos

Andrew O'Donnell is a Senior Threat Researcher at Sophos, with a career spanning from January 2007 to the present. Initially serving as a Threat Researcher, Andrew contributed to the SophosLabs Emerging Threats team by reversing threats and enhancing detection for various malicious code, including targeted attacks and 0-day exploits. In the role of Senior Technical Support Engineer, focus was on customer support and malware removal. Since June 2015, Andrew has taken on advanced responsibilities, working with malware families and developing detection signatures while also utilizing grey hat tools from a defensive perspective. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computing from Sheffield Hallam University.
