Mate Balatoni

Mate Balatoni is a skilled cybersecurity professional with significant experience in threat research and anti-spam initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Threat Researcher at Sophos since October 2021, Mate has previously held positions as a Security Researcher III and II at Forcepoint from May 2018 to September 2021. Prior to that, Mate worked at Sophos in various roles related to anti-spam research from July 2012 to April 2018, following a position as an Anti-spam Researcher at VirusBuster from January 2012 to July 2012.
