Rob O'Brien

Rob O'Brien has a diverse work experience in the field of employment law. Rob started their career as an Associate at Choate, Hall & Stewart in 2007 and then moved to Littler Mendelson in 2012, where they worked as an Associate for three years. In 2015, they joined inVentiv Health as a Senior Employment Counsel, providing legal advice on US employment law matters and managing policy initiatives. In 2017, they transitioned to Sophos as an Employment Counsel, Americas, before being promoted to Senior Employment Counsel and later to Principal Employment Counsel. In their current role as the Director, Global Employment Legal at Sophos since 2023, they collaborate with HR, Legal, and business functions on a range of employment issues and handles significant projects such as supporting mergers and acquisitions and implementing best practices.

Rob O'Brien holds a J.D. degree from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and Economics from Colgate University.
