Chief Product Owner Servicenow at Sopra Steria

Espen Sørensen has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Espen started their career in 2010 at Sopra Steria as an IT Service Management Consultant, where they worked until 2018. During their time at Sopra Steria, they gained expertise in ITIL, IT Service Management, CMMI, project management, and process improvement. In 2011, Espen briefly worked as a Problem Manager at Steria Operations.

Espen then went on to work at HEMIT in 2010, where they focused on improving problem management. Espen also had similar roles at Utviklings- og kompetanseetaten at Oslo kommune in 2011 and Departementenes service senter in 2013, where they worked as a Project Manager and a Problem Management Advisor, respectively.

In 2012, Espen worked at Oslo kommune as a Project Manager and later as a Leader of System Management. Espen was also involved in the Løftet project at Oslo kommune, and during their time there, they implemented problem management and led system development and competence.

Espen continued their career at NAV in 2014 and served as an Innleid Change Manager & Release Coordinator and later focused on improving problem management. Espen also worked at Kongsberg Maritime in 2016 as a Project Manager and Advisor, where they provided process advice for incident, change, and knowledge and upgraded the company's IT service management tools.

In 2015, Espen worked at Brønnøysundregistrene as a Project Manager for a new service management tool. Espen then worked at REMA 1000 i Norge in 2016 as a Project Manager and Advisor for ServiceNow.

From 2017 to 2019, Espen worked at NAV as a Project Manager for the implementation of Jira Service Desk. Espen'smost recent position was at Sopra Steria, where they worked as a Process Owner and later as the Chief Product Owner for ServiceNow starting in 2018 and 2020, respectively.

Espen Sørensen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Project Management from BI Norwegian Business School from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed an IT Kandidat degree in Information Technology from DPH from 1999 to 2001. In addition, they received various certifications from the Steria Academy in 2014, including PRINCE2 Foundation, ITIL Continual Service Improvement, Kepner Tregoe Foundation, ITIL Expert, ITIL Service Design, ITIL Service Transition, and ITIL Service Strategy. In 2016, they also received an ITIL Practitioner certification from Sopra Steria Academy.
