In recent years, Andrej has been the Business Development Manager at SORAMITSU since March 2021. In this role, they have focused on building successful partnerships and driving revenue growth. Andrej is currently involved in implementing Polkaswap integrated SORA mobile wallet SORACARD.com and providing consulting services for the Advanced Digital Assets Routing project (ADAR).

Before that, Andrej served as the Head of Operations at Equito starting in September 2020. Andrej played a key role in acquiring an investment firm license and successfully raising 22 million EUR from 6,000 investors. Andrej also developed a fully-automated onboarding and investment platform. As the Product Owner and Business Representative for platform development, Andrej created a comprehensive operations strategy and ensured compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).

As a Co-Founder of Go2insure since January 2019, Andrej was instrumental in building an innovative digital insurance platform called Go2insure.net. Andrej used their expertise in the insurance industry to understand customer needs and implemented cutting-edge technology solutions.

Previously, Andrej worked as a Senior Digital Transformation Consultant at Practicus starting in May 2016. Andrej also held the position of External Consultant at A1 Slovenija d.d. from November 2019 to March 2020 and at Telekom Slovenije from May 2016 to December 2019. In these roles, they successfully implemented projects related to IT, business analysis, and process optimization.

Andrej has also gained experience in the cryptocurrency industry as the Head of Operations at Blocktrade from March 2018 to March 2021. Andrej led a team in creating a crypto exchange from scratch and played a key role in developing various systems and connections with banking and security vendors.

Additionally, Andrej has held senior positions at Addiko Bank AG, CREA pro, and Abanka Vipa d.d. In these roles, they focused on strategic negotiations, project management, and process optimization.

Andrej Grobler completed their education in a range of fields. Andrej began by earning a high school diploma from Gimnazija Bežigrad between 1985 and 1989. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Automation Systems at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Electrical Engineering from 1989 to 1995. Following this, they attended the Defense Ministry of the Republic of Slovenia, School for Military Officers from 1995 to 1996, where they obtained a degree as a Platoon Leader. Finally, they advanced their education further by completing a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in General Management at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics from 1997 to 2001.
