Isaac Roach's work experience begins in 1994 at Packard Bell NEC, where they worked as a Senior Technician managing the Electronic Response Team and assisting in resolving customer technical issues. In 1996, they joined I-Sim as a Software Engineer and stayed until 2001. At GE Capital, from 2001 to 2004, Roach worked as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the development of driving simulator software and other projects. Isaac then moved to L-3 Communications as a Software Engineering Manager, defining standards and developing reusable software components until 2007. Roach then joined L3Harris Technologies as the Director of Engineering until 2009, managing teams and implementing agile methodologies. From 2009 to 2017, they worked at Sorenson Communications as a Director of Engineering and later as the Senior Director of Engineering, leading the development of communication services and products for the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities. Currently, Roach is a Member of AWS Utah, a leading community for AWS professionals.
Isaac Roach completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, from 2002 to 2007.
Furthermore, they pursued a Master of Business Creation (MBC) from the University of Utah, from 2023 to 2024.
In addition to their formal education, Isaac Roach obtained the following certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022, and MBA Foundations from the University of Utah in 2021.
