Peter is currently the Executive Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Sorenson Communications, where they oversee various sales and operational teams. Prior to this, they worked at Américo Móvil as the Vice President of Strategic Sales & Alliances (Claro USA) and as the Executive Director of Alliance Business & Global Sales (Telmex USA). Peter also served as the Senior Sales Manager for Latin America & Caribbean at IMPSAT Fiber Networks Inc. In their earlier career, they worked as a Senior Corporate Account Manager at AT&T Mobility, a Regional Sales Manager at People's Telephone Company, and a Senior Key Account Manager at AT&T - Get Wireless Now.
Peter Rivera has an Associate of Arts degree in International Relations from Miami Dade College. In 2019, they obtained a certificate from Columbia University for completing the Master Class for CXOs, Leadership in the Digital Age, with a focus on Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. In 2017, they also earned a certificate from Columbia University in the CIO Leadership Workshop. Additionally, Peter has obtained various certifications including the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1 and Level 2 certifications from Fortinet, as well as certifications in Strategic Thinking and How to Use LinkedIn Learning from LinkedIn.
