Matthew Gevers has a long and distinguished career in engineering. Matthew began their professional career in 1999 as a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist and Marketing & Sales at Safety-Kleen. In 2000, they moved to Rea Magnet Wire as a Senior Plant / Project Manufacturing Engineer. In 2004, Gevers became the Division Head - Engineering at Indiana University Bloomington. After two years, they moved to GE as a Lead Product Cost Take Out Engineer. In 2007, they joined CFM Majestic as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer / Die Shop & Maintenance Manager, where they moved a production facility from Canada to Indiana and trained personnel on new manufacturing processes and equipment. Gevers then moved to Tuthill Transfer Systems in 2008 as the VP of Engineering and Strategic Sourcing, where they created Lean processes for engineering and manufacturing to develop new products that lead the market. In 2018, they became the VP Engineering and Operations at AccuTemp Products, Inc., where they implemented Lean processes and personnel development to bring new products to market. In 2020, Gevers joined Bowmar LLC as the Director Of Quality Assurance. Finally, in 2022, they moved to both Sortera Alloys, Inc. and Challenge Tool & Manufacturing as the Director of Engineering.
Matthew Gevers attended Purdue University from 1982 to 1987, where they studied Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Matthew also attended Purdue University from 1991, where they studied Aviation Maintenance Technology and Physics.
