Christopher Freeman

Christopher Freeman has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. Christopher is currently a VP/Controller at Sound Community Bank since September 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of VP/Financial Analysis & Accounting Manager at the same company from August 2018 to September 2021. Before joining Sound Community Bank, Christopher worked as an Accounting Manager at Seattle Credit Union from April 2017 to May 2018. Christopher also served as a General Accounting Manager at HomeStreet Bank from August 2015 to April 2017. Christopher previously worked at Sound Community Bank from 2000 to 2015, where they held various roles including VP/Controller, Financial Reporting Coordinator, Treasury Analyst, Commercial Loan Officer, and Accountant.

Christopher Freeman completed a Certificate of Completion in Executive Development Program from the Washington Bankers Association in 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a BA degree in Accounting from Western Washington University from 1993 to 2000.
