Roderick Navar

Roderick Navar is an experienced audio-visual technician and stagehand currently working at AV Chicago, Inc. since May 2023. With a background in live event production, Roderick has operated and maintained audio, video, and lighting equipment at multiple companies, including SPL LLC and Sound Investment. Roderick has held various roles in production support, including as a production assistant at SONIDOS, where responsibilities included fabricating art installations and implementing safety protocols. Prior to this technical expertise, Roderick worked in administrative roles at GoHealth and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where skills in licensing administration, IT support, and consular services were developed. Roderick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government/Global Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
