Morgan Dean

Morgan (Dean) O'Neill currently serves as Chief Impact Officer at Girls Just Wanna Have Funds, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing women in corporate restructuring and distressed investing. Since March 2024, Morgan has played a vital role in fostering connections among women in the industry through bespoke events. In addition, Morgan holds the position of Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at Sound Point Capital Management, LP, focusing on the Strategic Capital Fund since January 2020. Previous experience includes roles at HPS Investment Partners, LLC from 2015 to 2020 in Special Situations Private Debt, and at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2013 to 2015 in Investment Banking - Leveraged Finance. Morgan is an alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and also attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
