Vincent Shen

Vincent Shen, CFA has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Vincent is currently serving as a Managing Director and Co-Head of U.S. Sector Research at Sound Point Capital Management, LP since July 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Credit Analyst at the same company from November 2016 to July 2022, where they evaluated investment opportunities in the syndicated leveraged loan and high-yield markets, with a focus on technology, telecommunications, cable, and paper & packaging sectors.

Before joining Sound Point Capital Management, LP, Vincent was a Vice President and Credit Analyst at Trimaran Advisors from April 2012 to October 2016. In this role, they evaluated investment opportunities in the syndicated leveraged loan market, covering sectors such as technology, telecommunications, paper & packaging, and environmental services.

Prior to Trimaran Advisors, Vincent worked as an Associate at Deutsche Bank from January 2010 to April 2012. Vincent began their finance career as an Analyst at CIT from July 2007 to June 2009.

Vincent Shen, CFA attended Boston College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance/Accounting. Vincent also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
