Ben Mills

Ben Mills has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ben started their career as the Publicity Coordinator and later became the Director of MACRoCk, the largest independent music conference on the east coast. Ben then worked as an Events & Marketing Coordinator at Clementine, where they managed marketing campaigns and organized events. Following this, they were a Project Manager at Apex CoVantage, where they managed technical projects and exceeded client goals. Ben then joined AARP as an AARP TEK Project Manager, overseeing the implementation of educational workshops for AARP members. Ben also served as a Project Manager at My Big CHIEF, where they managed high-profile projects and maintained client relationships. Ben then worked at HZDG as an Interactive Project Manager and later as a Senior Project Manager. Ben joined Threespot as a Senior Project Manager, leveraging their technical intuition and leadership instincts in the digital landscape. Currently, Ben is working at SoundExchange as a Lead Technical Product Owner and previously held the positions of Sr. IT Project Manager and IT Project Manager. In these roles, they collaborated with various teams to enhance and scale SoundExchange's core offerings to creators and rights owners.

Ben Mills earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Music Industry from James Madison University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition, they obtained certifications in Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) and Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in 2019 and 2018, respectively.
