Victor Leitman has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 1995, they worked as a Software Developer at Applied Materials, where they were responsible for real-time software development. From 2000 to 2001, they were a Software Development Engineer at FusionOne, where they focused on designing technical specifications for mobile devices. At Akamai Technologies from 2001 to 2006, they held the position of Sr. Software Engineer. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at PostPath, where they reverse-engineered Microsoft's proprietary MAPI protocol. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at CloudShield Technologies as a Debugger Engineer and then as the Chief Software Design Engineer, overseeing the development of PacketWorks IDE. Finally, since 2013, they have been with SoundHound Inc., starting as a Staff Engineer and progressing to Director and then Senior Director of Cross Platform Engineering. Their work there includes designing and implementing the Broadcast Content Recognition system and collaborating with TV and radio partners.
Victor Leitman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Statistics from Tel-Aviv University in Tel-Aviv, Israel, from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1990, they studied Physics at Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University.
