Kate Hand, ACC, RCC™

Kate Hand, ACC, RCC™ has over 20 years of work experience in various roles focusing on leadership development, coaching, and learning and development. Kate is currently a Leadership Coach at Sounding Board, Inc., where they help leaders fulfill their potential through personalized leadership coaching. Prior to this, Kate worked as a self-employed Leadership Development Consultant and Coach, collaborating with organizations of all sizes and coaching mid-career professionals. Kate has also been a Director of Learning & Development at PwC Canada, where they led a national team in designing and implementing technical learning solutions. Additionally, Kate has served as an Instructor at Schulich Executive Education Centre and held roles at PwC, Commonwealth of Learning, United Nations, and CGI, contributing to training, instructional design, knowledge management, and technical communications. Kate's extensive experience showcases their expertise in leadership development, coaching, and facilitating learning programs.

Kate Hand, ACC, RCC™, has a diverse and extensive education history. Kate obtained a Certificate in Designing Curriculum Using Instructional Technology from Seneca College, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature and French at McMaster University, which they completed between 1990 and 1994.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Kate has also obtained several certifications in the field of coaching. Kate became a Registered Corporate Coach (RCC™) through the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) in March 2021. Kate further enhanced their coaching credentials by becoming an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation in March 2022. Kate's commitment to professional development continued with their completion of the Sounding Board 1:1 Leadership Coach certification provided by Sounding Board, Inc. in June 2023.

Furthermore, Kate has pursued ongoing training and expansion of their coaching skills through the Tiny Habits Academy.
