David Halliday

David Halliday has a diverse work experience spanning several leadership roles in various companies. David is currently the Vice President of Operational Engineering and Chief Information Security Officer at ShotSpotter, Inc., where they oversee information security, IT, cloud operations, and DevOps. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Information Technology and Cloud Operations at Cyphort, where they were responsible for IT, security, DevOps, and AWS cloud services. David also worked as the Interim CEO at Cloudspindle Inc., where they joined an early-stage startup focused on motion data collection in the cloud. Earlier in their career, they held executive positions at Silvaco Inc., including CEO and COO, where they drove the company's growth and improved operational efficiency. David also served as the Vice President of Engineering at Simucad Design Automation and Silvaco Data Systems, where they built highly responsive engineering organizations and drove standardization in software development. Overall, David Halliday has extensive experience in information security, IT operations, cloud services, and engineering leadership.

David Halliday completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Newcastle University from 1987 to 1989. David then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Software and Systems Design from the same university, graduating in 1990.
