Paul Mascari

Paul Mascari has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Paul is currently working as the Director of Sales, SafePointe at SoundThinking (formerly ShotSpotter). Prior to this, they worked as the Director, Security & Highway Solutions and also as the Director, Security Solutions at the same company. Before joining SoundThinking, Paul was the Owner of Clearwall Safety Consultants.

Paul's previous work experience includes serving as the Chief of Police at Marquette University. During their tenure, they played a significant role in the passage of 2013 Wisconsin Act 265, which allowed the university to establish a sworn police department with similar powers as the Milwaukee Police Department. Paul also oversaw the implementation of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the development of a business continuity plan. Additionally, Paul served as an Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard and as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.

Paul Mascari is currently a Doctoral Student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, specializing in Social Welfare-Criminal Justice. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Public Service-Criminal Justice Administration from Marquette University in 2013. In 2011, they also completed a Graduate Certificate in Law Enforcement Leadership and Management from Marquette University. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Additionally, they hold the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Officer Certification, obtained in 2015 from the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board (LESB).
