James Godlonton

James Godlonton has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. James is currently working as a Software Engineer at Source.ag since May 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Backend Developer at Helin Data from March 2022 to April 2023. James also worked as a Machine Learning Consultant from September 2021 to March 2022. James has academic experience as well, serving as a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Zurich Department of Economics from November 2020 to August 2021. James also worked as a Research and Development Intern at NEC Research & Development from January to April 2020. James has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Utrecht University from September to November 2019. Additionally, they gained industry experience through internships at Amazon Web Services and TravelGround.com during 2016 and 2017. Lastly, James worked in various roles at the University of Cape Town, including as a Department of Computer Science Tutor, Student Front Desk Assistant, and Department of Mathematics Hotseat Tutor from 2015 to 2016.

James Godlonton attended St. Andrews College from 2009 to 2013. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled in the University of Cape Town from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. In 2017, they pursued further studies at the University of Cape Town and completed a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Computer Science. During the period of 2018 to 2020, James attended Utrecht University, where they pursued a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence.
