Rien Kamman started their work experience in 2011 as a Master Thesis Graduation Intern at Shell Global Solutions International BV. Rien worked on a research project focused on calculating soil displacements under ice keels on the seafloor.
In 2012, Rien joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as an Associate, where they worked until 2014. Rien then became a Consultant at BCG until 2015. From 2016 to 2017, they took part in the BCG Sponsored MBA program at Columbia University in New York City. After completing their MBA, Rien returned to BCG as a Project Leader from 2017 to 2019.
In 2018, Rien also joined BCG GAMMA as a Project Leader and later became an Associate Director - Data Science until 2020. Rien was responsible for developing advanced analytic and AI solutions to improve the business performance of iconic companies.
In 2020, Rien became the CEO & Co-Founder of Source.ag, a company focused on developing technology to democratize access to sufficient fruit and vegetables while considering planetary boundaries.
Rien Kamman completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Columbia Business School in the years 2016 to 2017. During this time, they focused their studies on Data Analytics, Digital Business, Finance, and Leadership. Prior to their MBA, Rien pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Offshore Engineering (Mechanical, Maritime, Civil Engineering) from 2009 to 2011 at Delft University of Technology. Rien began their academic journey at the same university, obtaining their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2004 to 2009.
