Barry Sonmor

Barry Sonmor is an experienced electrical technical specialist currently employed at Source Atlantic Limited since November 2018, focusing on energy waste reduction through lighting audits, motor controls, and Arc Flash Risk Assessments. Previously, Barry held roles at Rexel Canada as Marketing Manager and Product Manager for energy efficiency, leading strategic marketing and e-commerce initiatives. At Rexel Atlantic Energy Solutions, Barry served as an energy specialist advocating energy conservation across various applications. Barry also contributed as an industrial automation and control specialist at Nedco, and built a financial services business with Freedom 55 Financial. Barry’s career began with technical inside sales at IPC Resistors. Barry holds a diploma with honors in Electronic Engineering Technology from NSCC Marconi campus.
