Shrinath Balakrishnan

Shrinath Balakrishnan is an experienced professional with a diverse background in software development and leadership roles. Shrinath currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Source.one since October 2018. Before that, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at IdeaToStartup.org from June 2018 to August 2018. Prior to that, Shrinath worked as a Full Stack Software Developer as a self-employed individual from October 2017 to May 2018. Shrinath also has experience working at Red Panda Innovation Labs, where they held the positions of Head of Operations and People Management from May 2017 to October 2017, and Software Developer from September 2015 to October 2017. At Red Panda Innovation Labs, they worked on various projects in different domains and technologies, primarily as a full stack developer. Before venturing into self-employment, Shrinath worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer from July 2012 to September 2013, where they contributed to the development of large-scale applications with a significant customer impact, including moving applications and services to the cloud. Shrinath also played a critical role in developing a business-critical application within a short deadline, resolving a major security loophole. Shrinath Balakrishnan completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, from 2008 to 2012. Shrinath then pursued an MSc in Aerodynamics and Computation at the University of Southampton from 2013 to 2014. In 2016, they obtained a Front-End Web Developer Nanodegree from Udacity. Shrinath also completed the React Nanodegree from Udacity in 2017. Additionally, they obtained certifications in HTML, CSS, and Javascript for Web Developers from Coursera Course Certificates in 2016, and a Front-End Web Developer Nanodegree from Udacity.
