Igor Popov

Igor Popov has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Igor'sfirst job was as a Technician at TechSys Information Systems. In 2013, they began working at FBD Partnership, LP as a Manufacturing Systems Engineer, Process Quality Engineer, and Design Engineer. In 2017, they took on a role as a Mechanical Engineer at deeproot Tech, LLC, where they designed pinball machines layouts & mechanisms utilizing Solidworks, prototyped pinball playfields & components, and set specifications and directed development of electronic control systems. That same year, they returned to FBD Partnership, LP as a Controls/Software Engineer, where they developed & deployed an internal manufacturing execution system (MES) to direct and track the production of tens of thousands of assemblies per year and an automated test data collection & analysis tool for capturing frozen beverage dispenser performance data during the final production testing. In 2021, Igor began working at SourceDay as a Development Team Lead and Software Engineer.

Igor Popov received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2012. In 2021, they obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Machine Learning with Python-From Linear Models to Deep Learning from edX. In 2020, they obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Probability - The Science of Uncertainty and Data from edX.
