Jonas Arguelles

Jonas Arguelles has a diverse background in software development. Jonas started their career as a Junior Software Engineer at Kernel Philippines, where they received training in C Language and worked on microcontroller firmware development. Jonas then moved on to Performance Software Corporation, where they gained experience as an Android Application tester and was responsible for developing test procedures using Java. In 2016, Jonas joined Cosmic Digital Universe as a Mobile Application Developer, where they developed Android applications using Android Studio and Java, and also worked as a Game Developer using Unity and C#. Currently, they are working at SourcePad as a Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, and NextJS Developer, primarily focusing on startups.

Jonas Arguelles obtained an Engineer's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Southern Luzon State University, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. In 2016, they attended the University of the Philippines' Information Technology Development Center (UP ITDC) for a course in Mobile Applications Development.

In addition to their formal education, Jonas Arguelles has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they completed courses such as "Connecting Android Apps to RESTful Web Services," "Foundations of Programming: Object-Oriented Design," "Object-Oriented Programming with PHP," "Up and Running with Python," and "Java Advanced Training" from lynda.com. Jonas also completed the "Java Essential Training (2011)" course in the same year. In 2016, they acquired certifications in "Effective Design of RESTful APIs," "Google Cloud Compute Engine Essential Training," and "iOS 8 App Development with Swift 1 Essential Training" from Lynda.com.
