Nick Wayland

Nick Wayland is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at South 8 Technologies, handling cylindrical cell mechanical design and electrolyte injection equipment mechanical design. Prior to their current role, Nick worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Viasat Inc., where Nick was involved in the mechanical design of maritime Ka-band radio and ground antenna systems. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at both Viasat Inc. and Verifone, Nick worked on various design projects, such as creating a mobile point of sale prototype and developing test fixtures for military modems. Additionally, Nick holds a degree from the University of Michigan and graduated from Torrey Pines High School.
