Jerry Matthews

Jerry Matthews has extensive work experience at the South Carolina Ports Authority. Jerry began their career in 1995 as an Operator and later became a Supervisor from 2002 to 2009. From 2009 to 2021, they held various roles including Terminal Manager, Senior Operations Analyst, Director of Breakbulk/RORO/Cruise Operations, and most recently, Director of Intermodal Terminals & Barge Operations.

Jerry Matthews has a diverse education history. Jerry obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of South Carolina Aiken, attending from 2014 to 2016. Prior to this, they earned an Associate's Degree in Associates in Arts from Trident Technical College, attending from 2013 to 2015. In addition, they also obtained an Associates in Applied Science in transportation and logistics from Trident Technical College, attending from 2006 to 2009. Finally, Jerry received a Certificate of Completion in Transportation and Logistics from the College of Charleston in 2003 to 2004.
