Jonathan Barone

Jonathan Barone is a seasoned professional in data engineering, currently serving as Lead Data Engineer at South China Morning Post SCMP since December 2021, after previously holding the role of Data Engineer at the same organization from September 2017 to February 2019. Jonathan has accumulated extensive experience in data engineering roles at KaiOS Technologies, Inc. (June 2020 - April 2022), Serai (March 2019 - April 2020), and Datacrag (April 2017 - September 2017). Prior to these positions, Jonathan worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at ebp Global (February 2016 - September 2017) and as an ETL Consultant at NSIT BIM (June 2013 - August 2015) and Micropole (February 2011 - May 2013), collaborating on significant data warehouse projects primarily within the banking and retail sectors. Jonathan holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Computer Science from Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) and completed preparatory classes at lycée Pierre D'Ailly.
