Steve Beckman has extensive experience in dairy manufacturing and research, currently serving as Manager of both the Davis Dairy Plant and the Institute for Dairy Ingredient Processing at South Dakota State University since July 2013. In these roles, Steve Beckman conducts research on innovative methods to enhance dairy powder quality, collaborating with microbiologists and chemists. Prior experience includes positions as a Dairy Technology Intern at Kraft Foods Group and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, where research focused on improving milk and milk products. Educational qualifications encompass a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with a focus on Dairy Science from South Dakota State University, an M.S. in Dairy Chemistry from Cornell University, and a Bachelor's degree in Food Science & Technology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
