Jon Theobald

Jon Theobald has extensive experience in stakeholder and community engagement within the water industry, currently serving as the Community and Stakeholder Engagement Manager at South East Water since September 2005. In this role, Jon is responsible for implementing a sustainable engagement strategy that enhances the organization's brand and reputation. Previous positions at South East Water include Stakeholder Engagement Manager, Environment Manager, and Water Conservation Manager, during which Jon developed key partnerships, ensured environmental compliance, and managed water conservation projects. Jon is also a Fellow at the Peter Cullen Trust, contributing to the development of emerging leaders in the water sector. In recognition of leadership potential, Jon received the Victorian Water Industry Association Leadership Award in 2014. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Environment Manager for the Department of Defence of Australia, managing environmental projects across the Southern Victoria region. Jon holds various qualifications in public affairs, investigation, and workplace training.
