Marc Sims

Marc Sims is an experienced leader in rail industry asset management, currently serving as Head of Asset Management at South East Water UK since January 2023. With sixteen years of public and private sector expertise, Marc previously held the role of Senior Asset Strategy Manager at Transport for London, where accountability included asset strategy and investment prioritization for a £10 billion asset base. Marc’s experience also encompasses managing cross-asset maturity improvement projects and data-driven decision-making initiatives, influencing policy and engineering standards. Education includes an MBA from Henley Business School and a BEng in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire.
