Debbie Melora Hood

Debbie Melora Hood is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounts payable management. Currently serving as the Manager of Accounts Payable at South Jersey Industries since March 2012, Debbie oversees payables operations for the company and its subsidiaries, leveraging expertise in various financial systems including Lawson, Perceptive Content, Workday Financials, Ascend, and Vertex. Previously, Debbie held the position of Supervisor of Accounts Payable at South Jersey Gas, contributing to the implementation of a new workflow system. Prior roles include Accounts Payable Manager for Caesars Entertainment and Accounts Payable Supervisor for Harrah's Entertainment, alongside earlier experience as a Payroll Clerk. Debbie earned an Associate's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Atlantic Cape Community College.
