Gene Dodelin

Gene Dodelin is an experienced procurement professional currently serving as Manager of Procurement at South Jersey Industries since June 2019. In this role, Gene oversees purchasing, contracting, materials, and services across multiple divisions and has been instrumental in developing new procurement strategies and implementing Workday solutions. Prior to this, Gene worked as a Contractor for Emerson Group, where responsibilities included ensuring vendor contracts were established for over 70 vendors during SJI's acquisition of Elizabethtown Gas and Elton Gas companies. Gene’s career at PHH Corporation spanned from 1992 to 2017, where positions included Purchasing Manager and Manager of Purchasing and Office Services, providing significant oversight and communication with senior leadership and internal stakeholders. Educational qualifications include studies at Rowan College at Gloucester County and Rowan University.
